John Kolaga is a partner and head of our environmental law practice group, and also lends his experience to our commercial real estate and banking and collections practices.
Within environmental law, he focuses his practice on the litigation of environmental issues, including negotiating consent orders and settlement agreements with state and federal regulators, as well as advising clients on environmental due diligence issues in the cases of acquisition or sale. He also counsels clients on the New York State Brownfields Clean Up Program, issues related to biosolids, and other public concerns.
John also practices general civil litigation and assists the Commercial Real Estate practice group and the Banking & Collections practice group on environmental issues which affect their clients.
